Exciting Behind-the-Scenes Look at Disney's STAR WARS-Themed Lands Reveals New Details
During the “Star Wars and Disney Parks: A Galaxy in the Making” panel at Star Wars Celebration this past weekend, a behind-the-scenes video was shown to fans in attendance. It gives us a look at what the creative team at Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Imagineering are currently creating for us and offers some new details. Their goal is to make sure that Star Wars fans have one of the greatest Star Wars experiences ever.
"Unusual characters from across the galaxy have landed here, preferring the 'no questions asked' environment as well as easy access to exotic supplies and an abundant supply of ready rogues looking to join a crew for their next adventure."
Lucasfilm and Disney are creating a place that is an extension of the Star Wars universe. It's explained that it has its own story and they say it will enhance the Star Wars franchise.
Lucasfilm also revealed a couple other awesome things during the panel. First, they will be unveiling a new technology that will allow for more realistic looking lightsabers than ever. They also announced that the new planet from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Crait, will be a new addition to the Star Tours: The Adventures Continue attraction.
