Exciting DOCTOR STRANGE Set Photos and Video Show Off Some Action
Some photos from the set of Marvel’s Doctor Strange hit the internet over the weekend and they give us our best look yet at Benedict Cumberbatch as Strange and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo. These photos are seriously awesome, and I love seeing the crazy cool details of the costumes they are wearing. As you’ll see in the images, they seem like they are in the heat of battle. I’m just not sure what they are exactly fighting. I've also included a video of them in action.
Before he became the Sorcerer Supreme, Stephen Strange was a disliked egotistical neurosurgeon. Everything changes for him, though, when he gets in a car accident that damages his hands. This accident leads him on a journey for a cure, and in the process he come across The Ancient One and discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions. These photos we are seeing show Strange on that journey.
The Scott Derrickson-directed film also stars Michael Stuhlbarg, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Mads Mikkelsen. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters November 4, 2016.
