Farmer Grows Pumpkins in Frankenstein Face-Shaped Molds
You hear that? That’s the sound of everybody saying, “Aaaah! I wish I thought of that.” Well you didn’t. Tony Dighera thought of it and he’s probably gonna have a helicopter by the end of the year. No, seriously. I’m not just frivolously quoting a Rory Scovel bit. Dighera just turned a massive profit on these pumpkins that he grew in special Frankenstein(’s monster)-shaped molds. The California farmer has been trying to develop the perfect mold over the last four years. This year he had his first successful commercial harvest, producing 5,500 Frankenstein-shaped pumpkins which he sold to suppliers for $75 EACH, totaling over $400,000 in profit! His plans for next year include upping production to 30,000-40,000 pumpkins, including skull-shaped white pumpkins.
There are a few more pictures below (thanks to Geekologie) for you to check out as well. I’d love to see what these look like carved and lit with a candle.
