Father and Son Build Giant TRANSFORMERS Out of Used Car Parts

After becoming angry at how bad Transformers: Age of Extinction is, I've decided that I'm never going to watch another Michael Bay-directed Transformers movie again. (If someone else comes along to direct, I'll probably give it another shot.) But even though I'm not a fan of those films, I can still appreciate the iconography behind them, and the craft that a father and son put into building huge Transformers of their own out of used car parts.

Yu Zhilin and his son, who live in the Hunan province of China, have created a whole business out of building these statues. I can't seem to find out if Zhilin is the same guy who created this life-sized Optimus Prime a few years ago, but it seems like he and his son have a pretty good handle on the novelty market over there right now. Nice work!
