FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF 8-Bit Cinema

Ferris Bueller's Day Off is one of the all-time great teen comedies, and one of my personal favorite movies. Just a few months ago, we recorded an episode of The 5Cast in which we ranked our favorite moments from the John Hughes classic, and I loved the movie so much in high school that I got a license plate that said DAY OFF. Now Cinefix has given it the 8-bit cinema treatment, and it's fun to see what scenes they included and how accurate they could be given the restrictions of the blocky graphics. Be sure to listen for the the great little musical touches, too, like the I Dream of Jeannie theme song playing in the background at one point. Check it out below:

CineFix presents Ferris Bueller's Day Off retold via old-school 8-bit (and a little 16 bit ;) game tech. No quarters or controllers required!
