FINAL FANTASY EXPLORERS 3DS Announced For North America
Square Enix announced today that Final Fantasy Explorers will be coming over to North America exclusively on the 3DS. In it, you and up to three other buddies can take on classic Final Fantasy enemies and Eidolons on your way to securing the Grand Crystal. It doesn't seem like the story is going to be the main draw here, and that's perfectly fine as long as the action RPG combat is addictive and easy to execute. This is exactly the kind of experience I would love to have on my handheld on a way to a meeting or my 4th screening of Minions, and while the Job System has been explored before many a time, it still holds up for a reason. Plus, it doesn't hurt that you can play as some of the biggest stars of the franchise, including Lightning, Squall, Yuna, and of course Cloud. I'm eager to see how smooth the co-op handles when you get more than two people in a session.
