First Clip From Spike Lee's New Michael Jackson Documentary Highlights STAR WARS Connection

Director Spike Lee has a new documentary airing on Showtime next month called Michael Jackson's Journey From Motown to Off The Wall, which traces the singer/songwriter's progression from member of The Jackson 5 to one of the most popular solo artists in America with the release of his breakthrough "Off The Wall" album. It features interviews with modern musicians, artists, athletes, as well as some of Jackson's siblings and both of his parents, plus loads of behind the scenes footage.

Showtime has released the first clip, which has a surprising connection between Jackson's music and Star Wars that I never noticed before. Check it out below, and tune into Showtime on February 5th for the documentary's debut.
