First Look at Matthew McConaughey as The Man in Black in THE DARK TOWER Set Photos
I don't know about you, but I've been curious to see what Matthew McConaughey is going to look like as The Man in Black in the feature film adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower. Well, thanks to some set photos that have surfaced, today we know exactly what he'll look like.
I was excited to learn that McConaughey would be playing this villainous character in the upcoming Dark Tower film(s) and he definitely looks great in the role. It's pretty much what I expected him to look like. You can see the photo below and you can click through to see even more of them.
The Man in Black is an emissary of the Crimson King and a demonic sorcerer who goes by many names, including Randall Flagg, Walter O'Dim, Rudin Filaro, Raymond Fiegler, Richard Fannin, Walter Hodji, Walter Farden, The Walkin' Dude, The Covenant Man, and Marten Broadcloak.
The film is being directed by Nikolaj Arcel and it also stars Idris Elba as Roland Deschain, Abbey Lee as Tirana, Tom Taylor as Jake Chambers, Fran Kranz as Pimli, Katheryn Winnick, and Jackie Earl Haley as the villain, Richard Sayre.
