First Red-Band Trailer for SNOWPIERCER
"We control the engine, we control the world."
I know we've already seen a ton of trailers, clips, and featurettes for Joon-ho Bong's sci-fi thriller Snowpiercer over the years, but today we give you the first U.S. red-band trailer! It seems like we have been hyping up this movie forever, but the Weinstein Company is finally going to release it in theaters on June 27th. The movie has screened at several film festivals already, and people seem to really love it. I think it looks awesome, and I can't wait to be able to finally watch it for myself.
Snowpiercer is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.
The film has a great cast of actors that includes Chris Evans, Ed Harris, Jamie Bell, Alison Pill, John Hurt, Oscar winners Tilda Swinton, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Bremner, Kang-ho Song, and Luke Pasqualino.
