First Trailer for BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE Animated Film

"All it takes is one bad day."

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the first trailer for their animated film adaptation of Alan Moore's Batman: The Killing Joke. I've been looking forward to watching this film, especially since Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy returned to lend their voices to The Joker and The Dark Knight.

The film was recently officially slapped with an R-rating, which seems appropriate for the dark and controversial subject matter. It just tells me that director Sam Liu and his team did a proper job of telling this story. Some of the animation done for the movie seems a bit on the crude side, but it's the story that matters. Maybe a lot of that will be cleaned up by the time the movie is ready to be screened.

Batman: The Killing Joke is set to premiere at San Diego Comic-Con, and it will most likely be released shortly after that. To watch a previously released teaser and featurette on the film, click here.
