First Trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's Event Series WAYWARD PINES

We've all been burned by M. Night Shyamalan so many times by now that when the trailers for Devil came out in theaters a few years ago (a movie he produced, not directed), there were audible groans from audiences. Shyamalan hasn't made a great film in years, so it makes sense that he'd turn to television to try to get his mojo back, and that's exactly what he's done with the upcoming Fox event series Wayward Pines.

The show's first trailer reveals a very Twin Peaks-esque vibe, telling the story of a federal agent who visits a small town to try to track down some missing fellow agents, but encounters some push-back from the local community. Matt Dillon, Melissa Leo, Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Toby Jones, and Juliette Lewis star, and the show premieres on May 14th, 2015.
