First TV Spot for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Offers More New Footage
"I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people."
Lucasfilm and Disney have released the first TV spot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and it includes even more new footage from the film. Of course, none of that footage features Luke Skywalker. That's ok, though! We all know he's going to show up in the movie! We just don't know exactly how he'll be used in the story yet. I'm really happy that J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm are keeping that aspect of the story a mystery.
I figured we'd get a few TV spots for the film before it was released in theaters. Hopefully they keep the number of them down, though. Marvel tends to release about twenty of them before they release a movie. I'd be good with two or three for Star Wars.
In case you missed the Japanese trailer for the film that was released on Friday, I suggest you check that out because it's even better than the first trailer that was released. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will hit theaters on December 18th!
The force is calling to you...
