Flash and Supergirl Sing About Being Super Friends in Clip From the Musical Crossover Episode

A new clip has been released from the upcoming musical crossover of The Flash and Supergirl. The episode is called "Duet," and in this clip, we get to see the two heroes literally singing about the power of super friendship. It actually pretty damn charming. Here are some of the lyrics:

"When life is getting me down
And the world seems like it’s gonna end...ship
"There’s at least one power
That we both still have
And that’s the power of...friendship!"

We know that Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist have musical talent because we've seen them display it before on the series Glee. I was a little leery about this whole musical crossover thing when it was first announced, but it actually looks like it might be fun.

Barry (Grant Gustin) and team are surprised when Mon-El (guest star Chris Wood) and Hank Henshaw (guest star David Harewood) arrive on their Earth carrying a comatose Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist) who was whammied by the Music Meister (guest star Darren Criss). Unable to wake her up, they turn to Team Flash to save her. However, the Music Meister surprises The Flash and puts him in a similar coma, one that Team Flash can’t cure. Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end.

Check out the clip from "Duet" below and let us know what you think. The episode airs this Tuessday.
