Fox May Be Developing a Live-Action X-MEN Series

TV X-Men by Joey Paur

The same sources that brought Bleeding Cool the news of a Supergirl TV series being developed is back with some more interesting superhero TV intel. They say that FOX is currently "deep in development" on a live-action X-Men TV series. There were no details given on what this series will entail, or which characters they will use, but maybe there will be some kind of reveal at New York Comic Con.

It makes sense that there would eventually be an X-Men series. After all, genre TV is booming with shows such as The Flash, Arrow, Constantine, Gotham, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, The Defenders, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, Powers, The Strain, The Walking Dead, Daredevil, and Supergirl. I'm sure there will be even more to come.

Over the years we've seen several X-Men animated series such as X-Men: The Animated Series, X-Men: Evolution, and Wolverine and the X-Men. It was only a matter of time before a live-action series was developed. This is all just a rumor until there's actual confirmation, and it will be cool to see what becomes of it. Will it be a standalone series separate from the films? Or could be be connected to the films but with different characters? What would you like to see in an X-Men series?
