Frank Miller’s WTF Cover Art for THE DARK KNIGHT III: THE MASTER RACE
This is the comic book cover art drawn by legendary comic artist Frank Miller for his upcoming mini series The Dark Knight III: The Master Race.
I honestly don’t know what in the hell is going on with this art. I can’t tell if it’s intentionally laughably bad or not. You can see Superman’s junk under his red underpants for cryin’ out loud! On top of that, the proportions are out of whack. This art makes no sense to me. It’s not like he’s never been able to draw Superman before.
I’ve heard Miller has had some health issues, and if that’s the case, you can definitely see it in his art. Miller knows what he’s putting out there, though, so maybe the style is intentional. Or maybe he just doesn’t care.
Whatever is going on with Miller’s art, it’s definitely not pretty, and I’m surprised DC released it. What are your thoughts on Miller’s art? Miller also wrote the comic along with Brian Azzarello.
