FRIDAY THE 13TH Reboot Gets an Obvious Release Date

Paramount Pictures is developing another Friday the 13th reboot, and they've set a release date of Friday, March 13th, 2015. It's the obvious release date for a movie like this. The news was revealed in a tweet by Exhibitor Relations.

I didn't care for the last reboot done by Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes, and I imagine this new vision of the franchise won't be any better. The last thing we heard about it was that producers were taking pitches for a found footage version of the franchise. A bunch of kids running around with cameras in the woods while being killed by a guy in a hockey mask sounds like a terrible idea.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all turns out! Are you excited for this new Friday the 13th reboot?
