Funny “Special Edition” Trailers for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS

Fans have created a couple of amusing parody trailers for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer for your viewing entertainment. There have been a lot of these things popping up on the internet since the official trailer was released, but these are two of my favorites. I’m also pretty sure we’re going to see a lot more of them. 

The first trailer gives us a look at what it would look like with the George Lucas "Special Edition" overhaul. Basically it includes a ton of random CGI elements thrown into scenes where they don’t belong, and of course, it takes that crazy looking lightsaber to a whole new insane level. 

The second trailer is called "Star Wars: The Phantom Awakens," and it splices together the audio from The Force Awakens with scenes from the 1999 film, The Phantom Menace. It just reminds us that amazingly awesome trailers can really hide the fact that some films are absolutely terrible.

Just for fun, this is literally just the audio from the new The Force Awakens trailer, with the Phantom Menace subbed in for the visuals. I tried to match the shots as much as possible.
