Ghostface Sports His New Mask in New Trailer For MTV's SCREAM
"By the time the first body is found, it’s only a matter of time before the bloodbath commences."
I've been a big fan and supporter of the Scream film franchise over the years. Unfortunately this MTV series looks like it's going to blow bloody chunks. The network released a new trailer for the show, and it includes the killer sporting his new ghostface mask, which in no way represents the iconic mask that audiences have come to associate with Scream. I'm not a fan of it, but judging from the online chatter, there are some people that do like it.
After a cyber-bullying incident results in a brutal murder, the shocking violence stirs up memories of a killing spree from the past that has haunted some, intrigued others and maybe just inspired a new killer. A group of teens – with two old friends struggling to reconnect at its heart – become lovers, enemies, suspects, targets and victims of a killer who’s out for blood.
The pilot for Scream The TV Series was directed by Jamie Travis, and the show stars Bex Taylor-Klaus, Willa Fitzgerald, John Karna, Connor Weil, and Amadeus Serafini. It's set to premiere on June 30th. I'll give it shot when it is released, but I'm not expecting much. Here's the trailer.
