Great Trailer for THE ROVER with Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson
We have a new trailer for you to check out for Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson's post-apocalyptic thriller The Rover. We also have a couple of new posters for it as well. This looks like it's going to be a great film. I'm definitely putting it on my must watch list. I enjoy movies like this. There's nothing wrong with watching a good, depressing movie to give you a pick-me-up! Also, Pearce is just a fantastic actor, and he doesn't star in enough movies, so I'll watch anything he's in.
The story is "set in a world 10 years following the collapse of society. The rule of the law has disintegrated and life is cheap. The film follows hardened loner Eric (Guy Pearce) as he travels the desolate towns and roads of the outback. When a gang of thieves steals his car they leave behind a wounded Rey (Robert Pattinson) in their wake. Forcing Rey to help track the gang, Eric will go to any lengths to take back the one thing that still matters to him."
The movie comes from writer and director David Michôd, and it's set to open in New York and Los Angeles theaters on June 13th before expanding wider on June 20th.
