Guillermo del Toro Wants Maisie Williams to be in PACIFIC RIM 2
It was recently reported that the release of Pacific Rim 2 has been delayed, and we have no idea when or if it will ever be made. Guillermo del Toro says he’s still working on it, but whenever one of Del Toro’s project gets delayed it means there’s a good chance that it’s not going to happen. It has also been reported that the filmmaker’s next movie will be a smaller film project while he continues the development of Pacific Rim 2. I imagine if everything falls into place during that time, Del Toro will direct the Pacific Rim 2 after he’s done with his little movie.
If Pacific Rim 2 does happen, it looks like we can expect to see Game of Thrones co-star Maisie Williams in the movie. The director recently confirmed that he had met with the young actress saying:
Had lunch with Maisie Williams yesterday. Remarkable. Dammit- if PR2 happens, that girl is getting a Jaeger.

She seems like she would fit into this world perfectly, and it makes the potential of Pacific Rim 2 even more exciting. Hopefully, Legendary Pictures doesn’t really give up on this sequel. That would be a bloody shame.
