HALO: COMBAT EVOLVED ANNIVERSARY is Now Available on PC as Part of THE MASTER CHIEF COLLECTION
It’s here! Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is now available on PC via Halo: The Master Chief Collection. I absolutely love the first Halo game and am excited that I can play through it once again. This rendition promises 60 frames-per-second action with support for 4K UHD so you can kill those Grunts in the prettiest manner. Fans will also notice a new abilitiy to rebind controls, support for different aspect ratios including ultra-wide displays, and updated textures and shadows.
Additionally, fans will probably greatly appreciate the fact that you’ll be able to change between the original and Anniversary audio depending on your personal preferences. This option is currently only available in multiplayer at the moment according to Halo Waypoint.
Speaking of Multiplayer, you’ll now be able to access HCE Hardcore Doubles if you’re a competitive player. For more social players, you’ll have access to the following formats:

2v2 - Precision Slayer & Asset Denial
4v4 - Precision Slayer, Auto Slayer, Flag & Bomb, Zone Control, Asset Denial, Action Sack, and Snipers
