Harrison Ford Isn't Looking Forward to Watching The Han Solo Movie Because It'll Be Weird

I've noticed that a lot of Star Wars fans are still torn about the upcoming Han Solo standalone film that's currently in production. There seems to be a cautious excitement about it. It especially has to be a strange thing for Harrison Ford because he IS Han Solo! Now he's going to have to watch a new, younger actor step into the role. That actor is Alden Ehrenreich and we're all curious to see what exactly he's going to bring to the role.

A video recently popped up from Star Wars Celebration where George Lucas and Harrison Ford were interviewed. Ford was asked if he is looking forward to watching the new movie, and he quickly responded with, "Not really."

Of course, Ford was just being humorous with his answer, but he did go on to say that it's going to be weird for him:

“Of course I’ll be watching it as a fan, but it will be weird… it’ll be a little weird.”

He goes on to offer his opinion of the actor who will be stepping into Han Solo's shoes, saying:

“I’ve met the fella [Ehrenreich] who’s gonna play the younger Han Solo. Wonderful guy, very sweet, and a very good actor. So I’m delighted in the choice.”

It'll be interesting to see what Ford thinks of the movie and Ehrenreich's portrayal of the character after the movie is released.
