Here's One of The Most Insanely Detailed Pieces of STAR WARS Art Ever Created
I realize that headline makes a bold claim, but I'm confident that Andrew DeGraff's new piece lives up to that praise. The artist, whose work we've featured on the site a few times before, is known for creating extremely intricate, unique pieces that trace the journeys of film characters throughout every location in a movie. His latest painting, a staggering work that will be on display at this weekend's Art Awakens show at Los Angeles' Gallery 1988, follows the path of every Sith Lord and Jedi Knight across every location in every major vehicle in all six live-action films so far. This took over 600 hours to make! That's like if DeGraff had worked on it for 25 days straight, all the way through with no sleep. If you're in the L.A. area, be sure to stop by Gallery 1988 to see it in person this weekend. I'll be there tonight for an opening night party, so I'll try to have a little write-up posted about that soon.
