Here's That Deleted Mall Scene From X-MEN: APOCALYPSE
Right before Quicksilver's show-stopping slow-motion X-Mansion sequence in X-Men: Apocalypse, Scott Summers, Jean Grey, and Jubilee take Nightcrawler to the mall for the first time. This scene got a lot of attention online because there were rumors that Taylor Swift might be making a cameo as Dazzler; that never happened, and it turns out that nearly the entire scene was left on the cutting room floor.
Now we finally get a chance to see what that mall scene looked like. Xmenladies on Tumblr has posted the video of the scene, and while it definitely would have been a welcome, lighthearted bright spot in the middle of an otherwise-dreadfully self-serious movie, it's not a great enough scene that it would have saved the entire rest of the film from its flaws. It's just enough to register as a fun little moment, and that's just about it. But in a comic book movie lacking in fun moments, it still would have been nice to see this in context.
