Will Smith was originally offered the role of Neo in The Matrix, but he obviously passed on the part. It's one of many great "what if" moments of the past few decades in Hollywood history, but now The Unusual Suspect is here with a fan-made trailer that gives us a pretty good idea what the film could have looked like if Smith were in the lead. Hey, I guess there's always the chance he could take a part in the new movie.

In one of the most famous cases of actors turning down roles, Will Smith did just that for the role of Neo in The Matrix. The role instead went to Keanu Reeves and Will Smith went onto do Wild Wild West.
