Hideously Cool Poster Art For David Cronenberg's THE FLY

One of the most disgusting things I've ever seen in film that still haunts me to this day is watching the transformation that Jeff Goldblum goes through in David Cronenberg's The Fly. I had never seen anything like that in a movie before, and it freaked me the hell out! It's the first time I think I ever felt physically sick while watching a movie. Mind you, the film came out in 1986 and I was probably around 11 or 12 years old when I first saw it. It sure did leave an impression on me.

I have a great piece of poster art for the film that was created for MondoCon by artist Johnny Dombrowski. The poster goes on sale sometime today, so make sure to follow Mondo on Twitter to find out when it's available.

This is a 24″x36″ screen print that comes in a hand-numbered edition of 265, and it will cost you $40. Here's a video montage created by Monster Montage of all the wonderful grossness that this movie had to offer.

Man, that's gross. David Cronenberg's remake of The Fly is one of the best horror films of all time! How do you fight or flight when the monster is YOU!?!?!?! AHHHHH! Awesome. The Cramps is a band that I'm going to have trouble not using over and over for these videos because they have so many rad songs that fit with so many cool movies.
