Hugh Jackman Says Jerry Seinfeld Influenced His Decision To Stop Playing Wolverine
We all know that the upcoming Wolverine 3 is going to be Hugh Jackman's last time donning the adamantium claws as Logan, and while he's mentioned his reasoning for his decision to stop portraying the character after a staggering seventeen years, the actor went on Kelly & Michael to explain exactly where the inspiration came from:
So it sounds like Jerry Seinfeld is to blame! I'm guessing some fans aren't going to be thrilled with the comedian after hearing that, but honestly, I think Seinfeld was absolutely right. Jackman defined that character, and to me, he'll always be the first thing I think of when I think about Logan. And as someone who's a big fan of Jackman's non-superhero movies (remember how great he was in The Prestige?), I'm excited to see him begin the next phase of his career.
