This image offers us our first look at Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs in the upcoming biopic. The image is of a vintage-looking advertisement featuring Jobs promoting Apple's NeXT line of computers.
Steve Jobs is being directed by Danny Boyle, and a month ago some photos from the set surfaced showing off the actual garage where Jobs started his company.
Aaron Sorkin wrote the script for the movie, and the story will be divided into three acts that detail Jobs preparing for three presentations that came to define his life and the life of the company he co-founded, lost, and came back to. Those presentations will include the Mac in 1984, the NeXT in 1997, and it will end with the unveiling of the iPod in 2001.
The film also stars Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels, Michael Stuhlbarg, Katherine Waterston, and more. Universal Pictures will release the film on October 9th.
