INCEPTION/INSIDE OUT Mash-Up Takes Dramatic Music Inside The Mind

Inception and Inside Out are both set inside the human mind, so it was only a matter of time before someone cut together a mash-up of the two films and put it online. That time has arrived, and that "someone" is editor Nelson Carvajal, whose work we've featured on the site before here, here, and here.

The mash-up is essentially just clips from Inside Out with Zack Hemsey's "Mind Heist" track that was memorably featured in Inception's trailer, and I can't help but wonder if this may have worked a little better if Carvajal had cut this in such a way where he used the full audio from Inception's trailer and gave each Inside Out character an Inception counterpart. Seeing Joy explain things in Dom Cobb's voice would be pretty entertaining, so maybe someone else will jump on that mash-up.
