The new trailer for Luc Besson's Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets just dropped and you've gotta watch it now! This film looks like an insane and vibrant sci-fi adventure, and I can't wait to see it up in the big screen in all its glory! This is one of those films that was made to be seen on the big screen. Not only are the visuals stunning, but it looks like it tells a wonderfully wild and unique story that audiences will enjoy.

The movie stars Dane DeHaan (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) and Cara Delevingne (Suicide Squad), and this is the synopsis that was released:

Valerian (DeHaan) and Laureline (Delevingne) are special operatives for the government of the human territories charged with maintaining order throughout the universe. Valerian has more in mind than a professional relationship with his partner — blatantly chasing after her with propositions of romance. But his extensive history with women, and her traditional values, drive Laureline to continuously rebuff him.
Under directive from their Commander (Clive Owen), Valerian and Laureline embark on a mission to the breathtaking intergalactic city of Alpha, an ever-expanding metropolis comprised of thousands of different species from all four corners of the universe. Alpha’s seventeen million inhabitants have converged over time- uniting their talents, technology and resources for the betterment of all. Unfortunately, not everyone on Alpha shares in these same objectives; in fact, unseen forces are at work, placing our race in great danger.

The film also has a great supporting cast that includes John GoodmanRihannaRutger Hauer, and Ethan Hawke. It's set to be released in theaters on July 21, 2017
