Incredible STAR WARS-Inspired Shadow Art

Star Wars as been a huge deal for fans since it was first introduced in 19778, and it’s grown even bigger in the run up to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which just came out. There’s been a lot of art dedicated to said franchise. At first glance, this piece wouldn’t seem like art, just a bunch of random pieces here and there. But when the light hits it just right, it creates a shadow that shows Star Wars images. It was created by pop artist Red Hong Yi, and the video below will shows more cool images and the behind the scenes magic of how these were created.

Here's a video of all my Star Wars shadow art series with a bit of a behind-the-scenes footage. 7 Star Wars silhouettes were created by casting a beam of light onto various different materials attached onto wires. Hope you enjoyed this series as much as I had fun making it.
