It's Will Ferrell vs. Mark Wahlberg in First Trailer For DADDY'S HOME

When Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg share the screen, funny things happen. Their first big-screen comedy, The Other Guys, goes off the rails a little in its back half, but it's still an under-appreciated film with great moments between the two leads. (The bit starting at 1:40 in this video is of my favorite Ferrell scenes in any movie.)

Now the two have reunited for a new comedy called Daddy's Home, and the first trailer just debuted on Yahoo. Ferrell plays a nice and neat step-dad to a pair of kids who is threatened when their badass biological father (Wahlberg) suddenly returns to their lives. This looks hilarious, and I can't wait to see the ridiculous antics this pair gets into as they attempt to one-up each other to impress the kids.

Daddy's Home opens on December 25th, and Paramount has set up a website where you can send your own dad a Father's Day card just in time for Father's Day this Sunday.

“DADDY’S HOME” follows a mild-mannered radio executive (Ferrell) who strives to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father (Wahlberg) arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids.
