Jango Fett Actor Temuera Morrison Is in Talks to Join AQUAMAN
Temura Morrison, the man who played Jango Fett in the Star Wars prequels, is in talked to join James Wan's Aquaman. According to THR, if he's cast, he will take on the role of Aquaman's human father.
Earlier this week we learned that Nicole Kidman is in talks to play Aquaman's mother Atlanna, so it seems like Warner Bros. and Wan are on the verge of locking down Aquaman's parents.
In the comics, Aquaman's father was Tom Curry, a lighthouse keeper. Atlanna left the kingdom of Atlantis to be with him because she loved him and together they had Arthur, a.k.a. Aquaman, who grows up to be a bridge between the two worlds of land and sea. Tom educated Arthur and taught him to control his powers.
Morrison joins Jason Momoa as Aquaman; Amber Heard as Mera; Willem Dafoe as Aquaman’s advisor, scientist Dr. Vulko; Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta; and Patrick Wilson, who will play Orm, a villain who is also Aquaman’s half-brother.
Aquaman (Momoa) is the King of the Seven Seas. Leader of Atlantis, he is caught between the surface world constantly ravaging the seas and Atlanteans looking to lash out in revolt. Aquaman is committed to protecting the entire world. This film is part of WB’s shared DC cinematic universe.
The movie is set to be released on October 5th, 2018.
