Jeremy Renner Sings as Hawkeye on THE TONIGHT SHOW

With Avengers: Age of Ultron opening stateside this week, Jeremy Renner went on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote the movie. While he was there, he dressed in character as Hawkeye and sang a parody song to the tune of Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" that tried to prove why he's a worthwhile character who should be able to stand alongside people like Thor and Captain America on the superhero team.

Hawkeye fans out there must have been as disappointed as Renner himself when the character spent most of The Avengers as a mind-controlled bad guy. But Joss Whedon must have felt bad about having to use him like that the first time around, because Hawkeye has the best and most surprising storyline of any character in Age of Ultron. Anyway, check out the video below. It's pretty funny.

Hawkeye from "Avengers" sings about his lesser-known powers. Lyrics below. When you're on a team with the Hulk and Thor And we're all up there on the movie screen, Will the people believe that I'm not quite as tough? Will anyone even notice me? But listen I've got powers too, they're pretty sweet.
