John Goodman and Ken Watanabe Join TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION

John Goodman and Ken Watanabe have been cast in Michael Bay's Transformers: Age of Extinction. They will provide voices for two of the Autobot characters. Goodman will take on the role of Hound, and Watanabe will play a character named Drift. Both of those characters are pictured above.

Peter Cullen will also reprise his role as the voice of Optimus Prime, and Frank Welker provides the voice of Galvatron. Bay announced the casting on his blog, saying,

“I am pleased to welcome two gifted and versatile actors, John Goodman and Ken Watanabe, to the world of Transformers. And to reteam with Peter and Frank, who have brought Transformers characters alive from the beginning. I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the best voice talent in the business, and together we will introduce several exciting new robots to fans of the franchise around the world.”

As far as the rest of the voice cast goes, John DiMaggio will play Crosshairs, Mark Ryan is Lockdown, Robert Foxworth is back as Ratchet, and Reno Wilson returns as Brains. The movie is set to be released in theaters on June 27th!
