John Hughes Movie Tribute Art — What’s Your Favorite John Hughes Movie?
John Hughes made some incredibly great films in his career. I’ve enjoyed every movie that he’s been a part of, and today we have a collection of fun art that pays tribute to the films he made. Some of the movies he’s made include Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Uncle Buck, Pretty In Pink, National Lampoon Vacation. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Weird Science, Home Alone, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, and more.
The first series of art comes from Sam Carter and they feature silhouettes of some of Hughes’ most iconic characters. The second series of art comes from artist Luke Flowers and they give us more of a cartoonish take on some of the filmmaker’s classic movies.
These are all part of Popzilla’s John Hughes tribute art show, which is taking place at Pop! Comics. You can see the entire collection of art here.
As you go through and look at the art, think about what your favorite Hughes film is and let us know in the comments. I love them all, but if I could choose only one to watch over and over again, it would have to be Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. It’s easily one of his most entertaining.
