Jon Favreau Joins SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING as Happy Hogan!
Jon Favreau is jumping back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe! He will be reprising his role as Happy Hogan from the Iron Man films in Spider-Man: Homecoming! How awesome is that!? I was wondering if we'd ever see Favreau in the role of Happy again, and it's great to know that he's coming back! This is such a pleasant, exciting, and unexpected surprise.
There's no word on how big of a part he will play in the story, but whether it's big or small it will be great to see Favreau back in the MCU. We'll continue to keep you updated on any additional information regarding Happy or any other elements from the film as they come in.
Favreau will next be seen on the big screen starring opposite his long time friend Vince Vaughn in the film Term Life.
Spider-Man: Homecoming will have a very heavy John Hughes influence, and the story centers on Spidey dealing with the perils of high school while battling supervillains and being a superhero in New York. Joining Holland in the film is Michael Keaton who will be playing the Vulture, Michael Chernus as the Tinkerer, Zendaya, Tony Revolori, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, and Donald Glover. Reprising their roles from Captain America: Civil War, we have Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May.
