Joss Whedon Has Left Twitter, But James Gunn Has His Back

Joss Whedon deleted his Twitter account yesterday, and I initially thought it was because he was finished promoting Avengers: Age of Ultron and he just wanted to take a well-deserved break, relax, and spend his time doing something else other than messing around online. Do you really think that's going to do any good?

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn took to Facebook to stand up for Whedon, and it's a post worth reading in full. Keep in mind — this is important — that Gunn never says that we aren't allowed to criticize Whedon's film or have a discussion about its perceived shortcomings.
