Kate Beckinsale Joins D.J. Caruso's THE DISAPPOINTMENTS ROOM
Kate Beckinsale has been cast in D.J. Caruso's upcoming supernatural thriller The Disappointments Room. Caruso is the director who brought us films such as Disturbia, Eagle Eye, and I Am Number Four. The script for the movie was written by Wentworth Miller, who wrote the amazing script for the film Stoker.
Beckinsale plays a mother who moves her family to a nice Colonial manse in the country. The woman slowly begins to lose her sanity as she learns of the home’s bloody past and is afflicted by visions of a dead girl.
Miller is a hell of talented screenwriter, and I'm excited to see what he came up with for this story. This has the potential to end up being a really great film.
