Kevin Smith Says MALLRATS 2 and CLERKS 3 Projects Could Still Be Released

We will not be seeing a Mallrats 2 or Clerks 3 on television, streaming, or in theaters anytime soon, but that doesn't mean the projects aren't ever happening! Kevin Smith said on his podcast (via Comicbook) that fans may still see the projects in some form or another. If not on film, then maybe in a comic book:

"Sooner or later, I will put the scripts out there for Clerks 3... Probably Mallrats 2, the movie script, we'll do as a comic book or something like that."

Smith also said that some of the ideas and actors signed on for those films will likely be used in his future projects. I hope that means Jason Lee will appear in a Kevin Smith film again! I really miss that guy. Are you sad Clerks 3 and Mallrats 2 aren't going to be appearing on film or television?
