Kevin Tancharoen No Longer Directing MORTAL KOMBAT Movie
Mortal Kombat: Legacy director Kevin Tancharoen is the man who revived Mortal Kombat and made it cool again. He got fans excited for the prospect on an awesome feature film. He was attached to direct a movie for awhile, and was developing it with Warner Bros., but that's no longer the case. Tancharoen announced on Twitter that he's leaving the project saying,
"After 3 years of Kombat, I've decided to move on to other creative opportunities. I wish everyone involved in the movie big success. Thanks!"
There's no information on why or what happened for him to make this decision, but it sounds like the movie will move forward without him, and that he's got another project or projects on the horizon. It will be cool to see what he ends up doing next!
