Léa Seydoux Cast as Female Lead in BOND 24
A couple of months ago a rumor hit that Léa Seydoux (Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Blue is the Warmest Color) was the top choice to take on the lead female role in director Sam Mendes' Bond 24. The Daily Mail now reports that the actress has been cast as the story's femme fatale Bond girl.
Apparently, she's already signed up and ready to jump in on the next adventure, which starts shooting in six seeks. She will join Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, and Naomie Harris, who will all return to reprise their roles. According to the report, there will be a script rehearsal in late November.
The part she landed is a character originally written as someone with a Scandinavian background, but they changed it to French to fit the actress. There's really no information on what this next James Bond mission will entail, but I'm sure it's going to be awesome. I freakin' loved Skyfall, and I can't help but think it will only get better.
