Latest STAR TREK BEYOND Charity Video Reveals New Alien

During the latest Omaze video for Star Trek Beyond's charity campaign, there's a very brief flash of a new alien creature that, as far as I know, has never been seen in Trek lore before. If any of you hardcore Trekkers out there recognize it from the multitude of Trek-related media that's been produced in the past fifty years, please let me know in the comments.

Simon Pegg (Scotty) and Anton Yelchin (Chekov) appear in the new video (along with Yelchin's dog) on board the Enterprise to give you some more details about the fundraising campaign and announce the first of five members of the Star Trek Boldly Go crew.
