Let Loose With The New BAD MOMS Red-Band Trailer
Bad Moms is the latest in a long line of American comedies in which adults throw responsibility to the wind and act however they damn well please. This has become a major, defining characteristic of mainstream Hollywood studio comedies over the past fifteen years, and is a large part of why they often feel so similar. I've heard some comedians talk about how they won't go see American comedies in theaters anymore because there's just too much sameness to all of them, and after seeing this red-band trailer, it's hard to argue with that. I mean, it's great that this movie is full of awesome actresses, and I appreciate the rarity of female-led comedies these days, but don't you think we all deserve something better than this?
Bad Moms hits theaters on July 29th, and you can see a new red-band and green-band trailer below.
In this new comedy from the writers of The Hangover, Amy has a seemingly perfect life - a great marriage, over-achieving kids, beautiful home and a career. However she's over-worked, over-committed and exhausted to the point that she's about to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities - going on a wild, un-mom-like binge of long overdue freedom, fun and self-indulgence - putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn and her clique of devoted perfect moms.
