Liev Schreiber and Taye Diggs Cast in MY LITTLE PONY: THE MOVIE
The upcoming My Little Pony: The Movie is really putting together a solid cast of voice talent. Liev Schreiber and Taye Diggs are the most recent two actors to be cast in the movie. They will join the previously-announced Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Uzo Aduba, and Michael Pena.
The story centers on the “Mane 6” characters, which consist of Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity. Together they will embark on a quest where they will meet new friends and be faced with challenges as they use the magic of friendship and save their home.
My little girls are very excited about this movie, and I’m personally impressed by the level of talent that Lionsgate has been able to get on board, which tells me there’s a chance it might actually be decent enough for parents to enjoy. At least that’s what I’m hoping for because I know I’ll be taking the kids to see it. It's hard for me to imagine Schreiber doing a My Little Pony movie, but it's happening.
My Little Pony is set to be released on October 6th, 2017.
