Little Kid Superhero Portraits Will Make You Say, "Awww..."

Art Rocky Davies by Mily Dunbar

This Friday you are likely to see countless little kids dressed up as a variety of superheroes. In fact, I recently got a costume preview of some kids I know, and one was a Flash/Wolverine mashup. His brother was Captain America, only with a cape instead of a shield. It's significantly less practical, but points for style. Their other brother was just a regular Batman, which was kind of disappointing, but I get it. In today’s Batman climate, the hero is too intense to mess around with.

Not so intense are these adorable portraits of superheroes as little kids by artist Rocky Davies. Can you even imagine how sweet little Steve Rogers was? I bet he tried to help old ladies carry their groceries home but was too weak to actually lift the bags. Some of the others are still cute, but a little disturbing if you really think about it. Like how did little Nick Fury lose an eye? And what kind of mad scientist came up with the potion that gave Tony Stark early facial hair without any other signs of puberty? (I really hope it was little Bruce Banner, not pictured.)
