Mark Hamill Releases the First Photo Ever Taken of Him as Luke Skywalker in STAR WARS
Over the weekend, Mark Hamill released this photo of himself on the set of Star Wars: A New Hope. The photo came with the following note from Hamill on Twitter saying that he thinks this could be the very first photo ever taken of him as Luke Skywalker.
"Taken in Tunisia early morning Day #1 waiting for my 1st shot (emerging from home for robot auction)-Perhaps the very 1st."
A fan then asked him what he was thinking when the photo was taken, "At that very moment, were you thinking 'This is gonna be my big break' or 'Crap, it's early, dusty and way too bright'?" Hamill then replied with:
"Judging by my clueless expression, probably both. Crew was kind but thought #SW was 'rubbish'-I kept telling them 'We’re on a winner!'"
Hamill was obviously right! It's pretty cool to see a photo of Hamill like this right before he embarked on the biggest and most epic journey of his life that ended up launching a worldwide phenomenon. He had absolutely no idea how this movie was going to change his life.
