Mashup Artist POGO Creates Incredible Song Using STAR TREK: TNG Audio
You may remember Pogo from the string of Disney remixes he did in the late 2000s. His most notorious mashup of Alice In Wonderland has been viewed over 17,000,000 times alone (and probably more using youuutube) and he's had several other mashups around the million view mark.
After a brief break, Pogo seems to be back to making content, and I can't possibly love this awesome Star Trek: TNG mashup enough! Here's his description of the song and the audio tracks he pulled for this song:
Temba, his arms wide! In Tamarian this signifies the giving of a gift, first heard in the excellent episode Darmok. Data & Picard is my tribute to one of the greatest TV series of all time. It is an original track featuring the voices of Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) and Commander Data (Brent Spiner), accompanied by a music video I shot entirely in my living room with a green screen and lights.
The track opens with the Klingon Victory Song, followed by a remix of Data singing Che Gelida Manina in the episode 'In Theory'. This episode was the first ever to be directed by Patrick Stewart and I didn't realize this until after the track was finished.
I've listened to this four times since I started writing about it, and I think I'm gonna watch some TNG later today just because of this video. Great work, Pogo — let's have some more stuff like it!
And here's the Alice in Wonderland video, since I talked about it earlier:
