Matt Damon, Ridley Scott, and More Talk About The Accuracy of THE MARTIAN
The first trailer for Ridley Scott's newest sci-fi film The Martian was so great, I decided that was all I needed to see from the movie before I sit down to watch it in theaters. So I haven't seen the the trailer that debuted yesterday, but you can watch that here if you'd like.
Matt Damon plays an astronaut who's left behind on Mars and he has to overcome incredible odds to survive out there alone long enough for his team to man a rescue mission to come get him. It's an incredible story, and it's based on a mega-popular e-book written by author Andy Weir, who joined Scott, Damon, and a few NASA employees at a recent Q&A to discuss the scientific accuracy of the events depicted in the film. Check out the video below, as well as a few new photos from the movie. The Martian blasts into theaters on October 2nd.
