Mental Illness Monsters Explained Through The Eyes of an Artist
There are a lot of people in the world who are broken in one way or another. Some people are broken in body, while other are broken in mind, and it's nothing to be ashamed about. I've had my own heavy bouts with anxiety and depression, and it's not easy to fight off these monsters, but in the end I always win.
I came across a beautiful and awesome series of art created by Toby Allen that reimagines several mental illnesses as monsters. The series is called "Real Monsters," and Allen also gives an explanation of what each of these monsters do when they attack you. It's mental illness explained through the eyes of an artist.
